At Bighorn Mountain Maine Coons, we are a small, family-run Maine Coon cattery dedicated to raising well-socialized, confident kittens in our home. Our approach to breeding is rooted in intention, transparency, and respect for the Maine Coon breed.
We believe responsible breeding begins long before kittens are born and continues well after they go home. Every decision we make is guided by the long-term health, temperament, and well-being of our cats.

Health, Care & Ongoing Support
The health and well-being of our cats is always a priority. Our kittens are raised in a clean, nurturing environment and receive appropriate veterinary care before going home.
We believe responsible breeding includes ongoing support. Families are encouraged to stay in touch and reach out with questions as their kitten grows. Our goal is not simply to place kittens, but to support successful, long-term placements.

We take a conversation-first approach to placement and do not use automated applications or first-come, first-served listings. Every potential home is considered carefully through direct communication to ensure the best possible match between kitten and family.
